Billy Pitts Obituary

We announce the death of Billy Pitts (Camden, South Carolina), who passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 86. Billy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Reese Pitts and Louise Owens Pitts; and his siblings, Polly Parker, Sarah Peake, Beverly Simpson, Carolyn Zimmerman and Ricky Pitts.

He is survived by: his daughter Sonya Goldberg (Max); his grandsons, Austin Eubanks and Matthew Eubanks; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Fowler, Austin Carr Eubanks, Sophia Grace Eubanks, Grayson Lane Eubanks and Hazel Wren Eubanks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to DeKalb Baptist Church.
