He was predeceased by: his parents, Carnell Adamson Sr. and Rosa D. Adamson; his sisters, Corrine King and Janie Drakeford; and his brother-in-law Steve Drakeford.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy C. Adamson of San Antonino, Gregory L. Adamson of Camden, S. C and Angela Ablorh (Ebenezer) of Rock Hill, S. C; his grandchildren, Elvin, Eden and Ebenezer Jr. Ablorh; his siblings, Shirley Bennett (Jimmy) of Camden, S. C, Barbara Brennan (Richard) of Columbia, S. C. and Jacob Adamson (Agnes) of Columbia, S. C.; and his sisters-in-law, Blanche McClendon, Sallie Johnson and Lillie Johnson.
Viewing was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Home (704 Broad St, Camden, SC 29020). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church (9250 Camden Hwy, Rembert, SC 29128). A burial was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
