It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Carlyle Baxley Sr. of Camden, South Carolina, who passed away on March 20, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Edward and Lola Huntley Baxley; his brothers, Harold (Frances) and Olin (Peggy); and his grandson Burke Baxley.
He is survived by: his brothers, Corps of Cadets and S. Army; his former wife Kitty Wise; his wife Kathryn Wise; his children, Lynn Doster (Doug), Charles Baxley (Judy), Ann Carpenter (Richard) and Dan Baxley (Dorothy); his grandchildren, Richard Potter (Rebekah), Brantley Doster, Anna Lynn Moore (Christian) and Caroline Chambers (Geoff); his great grandchildren, Skye and River; his grandchildren, Kathryn and Carpenter (Jonathan Newman); his great grandchild Rowan; his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Crowder (Michael); his great grandchild John; and his grandchild Willson Baxley (Heather). He is also survived by children of his brothers; and his extended family.
