Doris Vinson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Vinson of Camden, South Carolina, who passed away on January 11, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elihu Frederick Dabney and Ruth Dixon Dabney; her husband Charlie Floyd Vinson; and her siblings, Donald F. Dabney and Miriam Dabney Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Doug Vinson (Carol) of Camden and Beth Vinson Charles (Kevin) of Camden; her grandchildren, Eric Vinson (Danielle) of Camden, Phillip Vinson of Camden, Drew Charles (Mary Hay) of Camden and Catie Charles Taylor (Corey) of Lugoff; her great grandchildren, Emma, Anna Vinson, Grayson, Charlie Grace Taylor, Nell and Smythe Charles; and her sisters, Elaine Dabney Cassady of Lugoff and Marie Dabney Crosby of Lugoff. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
