Elizabeth leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Elizabeth’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Elizabeth will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Soul and Mary Soul. She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Johnson (Phil) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her sisters, Dottie Penrod (Gary) of Pinehurst, NC and Susan Harvell (Wayne) of Mint Hill, NC; and her grandchildren, Matthew Johnson of Kansas City, KS, Michael Johnson (Whitney) of Pendelton, IN, Nicolas Johnson (Carlee) of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Jarod Johnson (Hailey) of Fortville, IN. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
