He is survived by: his wife Nelle Hammond Stein; his daughters, Judy Stein (Patrick R. Watts), Jeannie Stein (John Michael Hill) and Janice Stein (James E. Hayes); his grandchildren, Sean P., Paul R. Watts, Kathryn Lee and John Alexander Hill; and his nephew Johnny Stein of Jefferson.
