It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Kirkland (Camden, South Carolina), who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John C. Kirkland, and Cora Kirkland, Sr.; and his siblings, Almina Alexander, John C Kirkland Jr. and Lewis Kirkland.

He is survived by : his sons, Kelly Reid of New Zealand and Jemal Kirkland of Philadelphia, PA; his siblings, Rosa Mae Lassiter of Philadelphia, PA, Charles Kirkland of Philadelphia, PA and Carolyn of Englewood, NJ; and his adoptive son Leroy Robinson. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends.
