He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Edward Asay, Sr. and Mary McCabe Asay. He is survived by: his children, John McCabe Asay, Jr. (Margaret) of Columbia and Lauren Asay Schmucker (Freeman) of Camden; his grandchildren, Rhett Campbell, Liza Campbell, McCabe Schmucker, Helen Asay and Jack Asay; and his brother Don Asay (Donna) of Lexington, Kentucky..
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (1709 Lyttleton St, Camden, SC 29020).
