He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Glenn Speaks and Virginia Fisher Speaks Humphries; and his brothers, John (Nancy) and Howard Speaks. He is survived by : his wife Phyllis Smith Speaks; his daughter Sheri Speaks Berry (Chris Armstrong) of Lugoff; his grandchildren, Emily Berry, Nicholas Berry, Joshua Berry, Averi Berry and Harrison Berry; and his sister-in-law Cary "Kay" Speaks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
