He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha T. Cooper, and Laurin Cooper, Sr.; his spouse Caroyln; and his sister Ruth Cooper Stabler. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Cooper Mundy of Raleigh, NC and Nancy Cooper Campbell; his grandchildren, Chris Campbell (Brittany) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Laurin McGee of Raleigh and Brandi Carroll of Raleigh; and his great grandchildren, Rhett, Liza Campbell, Berkley, Canler Carroll, Grayson and Jaryn Sauls.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church.
