It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavern Rogers of Camden, South Carolina, who passed away on October 9, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lavern Rogers to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alexander M. Rogers and Olivia H. Rogers; his daughter Angela Hancock; and his stepchildren, William Truesdale, Margaret Trimnal and Vickie Harris.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Croft Rogers; his children, Rhonda Lynn Bermudez (Alex), Mary Jo Farley (Al) and Van "David" Rogers (Rachel); and his stepchildren, Talley Truesdale, Jr. (Maryann) and Nelson Truesdale. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Thiel-Meyer Pet Adoption Center, 128 Black River Road, Camden, SC 29020.
