She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lonnie DeBruhl and Sarah Dority DeBruhl; her husband John Alexander Elliott, Jr.; her children, Debbra Elliott Julian and Robert Laurens Elliott; and her siblings, Minnie DeBruhl Eddings, John Henry DeBruhl, Hayward Colin DeBruhl, Willis Dalton DeBruhl, Lucille DeBruhl McMurray, Lillibelle DeBruhl Tuttle, Lonnie Curtis DeBruhl, James Wylie "Jack" DeBruhl, Arnold Ranz "Buck" DeBruhl, Lynwood Aaron "Pete" DeBruhl and Bobby Ted DeBruhl.

She is survived by: her children, Dale Elliott Beinor of Columbia, Joel A. Elliott of Columbia and John K. Elliott (Debbie) of Camden; and her grandchildren, Erin Julian Hart (Aaron) and Marsh Julian (Carla). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
