He was predeceased by: his father Edwin D. Partin; his wife Mary Elizabeth "Maj" Finklea Partin; and his brother Andrew S. "Andy" Partin. He is survived by: his mother Rose M. Partin; his children, David Andrew Partin (Gretchen) of Camden and Elizabeth Louise Partin of Lancaster; his grandson Andrew Meade Partin; his great-grandparent David; and his siblings, Phillip E. Partin (Barbara) of Camden, Roderick A. Partin (Dawn) of Summerville and Gwendolyn Partin Murphy (Keith) of Columbia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
