With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rose McLeod Partin (Camden, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Edna Ferrell and Dalton L. McLeod; her siblings, Dalton L. McLeod Jr., Hubert McLeod and Minnie Edna McLeod; and her daughter-in-law Mary Elizabeth Partin (Maj).
She is survived by: her husband Edwin Davis Partin (Dave); her children, Patrick D. Partin (Pat) of Camden, SC, Phillip E. Partin (Barbara) of Camden, SC, Roderick A. Partin (Dawn) of Summerville, SC and Gwendolyn Partin Murphy (Keith) of Columbia, SC; and her grandchildren, David A. Partin (Gretchen) of Camden, Elizabeth L. Partin of Lancaster, SC, Charlotte K. Murphy (Dulane) of Roswell, GA, Michael A. Murphy (Kristin) of Columbia, Sarah Partin John (Breeden) of Columbia, Helen Partin Byrns (Mike) of Columbia, Mary Elizabeth Austin (Adam) of Charleston, SC, Edwin Davis Partin (Claire) of Charleston, SC and Lynn Murphy (Tommy) of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Kornegay Funeral Home (1112 Fair St, Camden, SC 29020). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church (1206a Lyttleton St, Camden, SC 29020). A burial was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at the Quaker Cemetery (713 Meeting St, Camden, SC 29020).
