She was predeceased by : her parents, John Wilkes and Leola T. Wilkes; her husband Nathaniel Harpe; and her daughter Sherrie B. of Washington. She is survived by : her grandchildren, Sherita Martinez (Carlos) of Rock Hill, Anthony (Keva) of Fort Mill and Shana of Rock Hill; her great grandchildren, Isabella C., Ariana S. Martinez of Rock Hill and Sloan A. of Fort Mill; and her sister Lois Hames Gray of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Mt. Moriah Soup Kitchen.
