He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde Clark and Alice Myatt Clark. He is survived by : his wife Mary Clark of Virginia; his sister Nancy; his brothers-in-law, Ron Ward of Camden and Jimmy Dill of Tuscaloosa, AL; his niece Jill Ward; his nephews, Eric Ward (Abby) and James Paul Bryan Dill (Lynsey); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Holleman Ward, Phelps Ward, Annalee Dill and Kate Dill (David Sumpter).

Memorials may be made to Community Medical Clinic, Alston Wilkes Society or Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church.
