It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Mae Wooten of Camden, South Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Willie Mae Wooten to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie W. McCaa and Leila Gladden McCaa; her sister Dollie Joyner; and her brother-in-law Roy Branham. She is survived by : her husband Johnny Wooten; her sons, John Galuppi (DeeDee) of Camden, Jeffery David Galuppi of Ormond Beach, Fla., Gregory W. Galuppi (Janet) of Westville and Eric Wooten (Kim) of Lugoff; her sister Cora Branham; her brother-in-law Bobby Joyner; and her grandchildren, Angella Galuppi Grier (Jason), Gregory W. Galuppi Jr. (Kristen), Joey Galuppi (Natalie), Andrew Neil Galuppi (Carol), Gavin Wooten, Alana Hall (Lowell) and Abram Johnson. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethany Baptist Church (3100 Youngs Park Dr, Westville, SC 29175). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
