He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Lee Young and Tressa Mae Hall Young; his sons, Rick Bailey and Willis Lemuel Young III; and his siblings, Judy Horton and Charles Young.
He is survived by: his daughter Heather Tetterton (Jeremy Byrd) of Camden; his grandchildren, Jessica Tetterton-Kellner (Taylor) of Durham, Abbigayle Pontes (Thalys) of Rock Hill, Anna Tetterton of Camden, Sarah Tetterton of Camden and Joshua Bailey (Savannah) of Columbia; his siblings, Lynwood Young (Charlene) of Cassatt and Jo Montgomery (Frank) of Camden; and his sister-in-law Hazel McCallum (Larry) of Lugoff.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel (1112 Fair St, Camden, SC 29020).
