He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Axson McNeil; his parents, Robert McNeil (Bob) and Vivian McNeil (June); and his brother Steven McNeil (Steve). He is survived by: his children, Paula McNeil Clark (Mitchell) of Orangeburg and Craig McNeil (Kim); his grandchildren, Audrey O'Neal of Orangeburg and Dylan McNeil (Charleston); and his siblings, Kenneth McNeil (Kenny) and Becky Spigner Breland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Thomson Funeral Home (1012 Whitman St SE, Orangeburg, SC 29115). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
