With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Hutto Haigler of Cameron, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Julius Hutto and Hannah Rhoad Hutto; her son Julius "Hutto" Haigler; and her siblings, John Daniel Hutto and Mary Hutto Baker.

She is survived by: her husband Dennis "Gilmore" Haigler; her children, Becky Haigler Covington (William "Bill") and Dennis "Denny" Gilmore Haigler, Jr.; her granddaughters, Rebecca Covington Dixon (Joel) and Sallie Covington Wall (Austin); her great grandchildren, William Joel Dixon, Caroline Ann Dixon and Janey Renee Wall; and her caregivers, Tricia Dixon and Sandra Thompson.
