He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyce Gordon and Ethel Marie Rainey Farmer; his daughter Janet Farmer Tate; and his sisters, Eunice Farmer Gaines and Margaret Farmer Grant.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Kay Blackwell Farmer; his daughter Kathy Farmer Morton; his grandchildren, Ashley Keiffer (Sam), Andrew Gordon Tate (Allison) and Olivia Michelle Tate; his great grandchild Jace Alexander Patino; and his son-in-law Mark Tate.
