He was predeceased by : his parents, John Broadus Maybry, Jr. and Rose Jones Maybry; his sister Rosanne Maybry; and his wife Janet Frances Hamilton. He is survived by : his children, Jay, Molly and Luke (Leah); and his grandchildren, Reece Dalton, Riley Hamilton, Rose Tinsley Blackwell, Hannah Louise Maybry, Julia Wells, Caroline McClain and John Robertson Maybry.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Building Fund of First Baptist Church, Campobello, SC.
