It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Junior Blackwell of Campobello, South Carolina, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dennis Floyd Blackwell and Elzie Mae Fisher Blackwell; his son Jeffery Glenn Blackwell; and his brothers, Joe and Johnny Blackwell.

He is survived by : his wife Polly Ann Ridings Blackwell; his daughters, Karen B. Pruitt (Douglas) and Tina Blackwell Hart (Mark Davis); and his siblings, Walter, James Blackwell, Mary Blackwell, Mildred Blackwell and Frances Ponder. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
