He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Gayle Belcher Collins; and his parents, Roy Abraham and Ione Plumblee Collins. He is survived by: his children, Missy Forrester (Kenny) and Scott Collins (Kristy); his sister Betty Taylor; his grandchildren, Lindsey Barksdale (Thomas) and Kelly Forrester; and his great grandchildren, Trevor and Palmer.
A graveside service was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Motlow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (2300 Motlow Creek Rd, Campobello, SC 29322).
