She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Melton, Sr. and Lula Brittain Melton; her husband Danny O'Neil Lavender; and her son Scott Lavender. She is survived by: her son Todd Lavender (Dawn); her brothers, Stanley Melton and Leroy Melton, Jr.; her grandchildren, Brittany Lavender, Cortni Dubuc (Brandon), Brooke Lavender, Phoebe Marker, Chloe Marker, Sandlin Lavender and Richard Lavender; and her great grandchildren, Brayden Lavender and Lucas Dubuc.

Memorials may be made to Lake Bowen Baptist Church, 404 Sugar Ridge Road, Inman, SC 29349.
