He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Celine Gasco (Scott) and Russell Sunderlin; his brother Guy Sunderlin of Blanco; his stepchildren, Pamela Price (Mark) of Boiling Springs, SC, Heidi Vassey (Clay) of Boiling Springs, NC and Jesse Roeker of Boiling Springs, SC; his mother-in-law Rosemary Howarth of Inman, SC.; his grandchildren, Heather Olmstead, Chelsea Morgan (Steve), Casey Quinn (Amber), Nick, Madison, Tristan and Kalie; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Bryson, Collin, Stephen, Kate, Scarlett and Kole. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gramling Methodist Church.
