With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Belton Mattox in Cassatt, South Carolina, born in Ridgeway, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2026 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Belton Mattox and Mittie Rabon Mattox; and his siblings, Dorothy Branham, Evelyn Green, Alberta Horton, Christine McNeeley, Lewis Mattox, Richard Mattox, George Mattox, Frank Mattox and Sam Mattox.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Ray Mattox; and his children, Tammy Reynolds (Blake) of Kershaw, Larry Mattox (Marie) of Cassatt and Terry Mattox (Karen) of Cassatt. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
