He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Howard Smith and Judith Hammond Smith. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Saunders Smith; his brother Keith Smith (Tammy); his mother-in-law Carol Saunders; and his siblings-in-law, Danna Whitman (Greg) and Chuck Saunders. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins.
