He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Eagerton Prevatte; his daughters, Jessica Prevatte Mowery (Alex) of Lexington, SC and Megan Prevatte DeFeo (Joe) of Myrtle Beach, SC; his grandchildren, Hadley, Shepard Mowery of Lexington, SC, Avery, Landon and Noah DeFeo of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his sister Carolyn Prevatte Tisdale (Arthur) of Kingstree, SC. He is also survived by four nieces and five nephews, four great nieces and five great nephews.
