She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sweeney and Lillian Ward Sweeney; and her siblings, Peggy Jean Sweeney Walker and James Thomas "JT" Sweeney. She is survived by: her husband Raul Palomino of Cayce, SC; her brother Bobby Joe Thornton (Sherry) of Pulaski, TN; her niece Melissa Kay Walker (Howard) of Pulaski, TN; her great-nephew Tyler Joe Thornton (Jordan) of Pulaski, TN; and her great-niece Chelsea Murphy Morris of Pulaski, TN. She is also survived by cousins, extended family and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Southland Memorial Gardens (700 W Dunbar Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170).
