She was predeceased by : her parents, Conley Gilliam and Mary Ellen Roberts Cunningham; her sister Glenda Cunningham Purvis; her children, Kathy Boozer Johnston and Charles W. Boozer, Jr.; and her grandson Jay Johnston.

She is survived by : her children, Jonell Joye, Alton Boozer (Vicki), Cindy Beaulieu (Barry) and Teresa McGuire (Patrick). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and her loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
