She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Way; her parents, Hollon Earl Gower (Tony) and Bettie Reynolds Gower; and her brothers, Bennie Gower, Bobby Gower and Wheeler Seth Gower (Buddy).
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Way Slate (Charlie), Nancy Way Rummage (Wayne) and Norman "Nick" Way (Karen); her grandchildren, Corie Slate (Barbara), Evan Slate (Tiffany), Christopher Way (Sarah), Brandon Rummage, Eric Rummage (Amy) and Jennifer McGuirk (Mark); and her great grandchildren, Jasper Slate, Emma Slate, Adalyn McGuirk, Callie Joy McGuirk, Ruby McGuirk and Olivia Rummage. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Wightman United Methodist Church in Prosperity, SC or some other charity of your choice.
