It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jo Pruett (Chapin, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hyatt and Margaret Hyatt; and her husband Mack Pruett. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Watson (Larry) and Jeff Pruett (Lisa); her grandsons, Ryan Watson (Maegan) and Justin Watson; her great grandchildren, Lukas and Jaxson Watson; and her sisters, Vicki Johnson (Bob) and Freda Keisler (Allen). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
