She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Aileen Amick and Harvey Bernard "Doc" Huffstetler; her husband Edward Ellerbe Summer; her son William David Summer; and her sister Janice Metts.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Thomas (Rusty), Keith Summer (Gina) and Deena Bishop (Joey); her grandchildren, Summer Gerth, Trey Thomas (Jessica), Blake Summer (Kasey), Kyle Summer (Jacqueline), Luke Summer and Ella Bishop; and her great grandchildren, Cord, Sophie, Eady Gerth, Hope, Maddy Thomas, John, Lucy, Adelyn and Emery Summer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church (101 E Boundary St, Chapin, SC 29036). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church Cemetery (101 E Boundary St, Chapin, SC 29036).
