We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2024, Claude Houston Evans of Chapin, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Henry Evans and Florence McPherson Evans; and his niece Charlene Hipp Pinnix. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Hipp Evans; his sibling's children, Donna Hipp Smith (C. A.), Janet Hipp (Marion), Lisa Looney and Bret Howard Hipp (Kathy); his sister-in-law Dorothy Hunter; and his nephew-in-law Johnny Pinnix.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 215 St. Thomas Church Road, Chapin, SC 29036.
