With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dana Marie Brady Monts of Chapin, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2026 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Brady and Majorie Veltri Brady; her grandson Landon Monts; her brother Mark Brady; and her close friend Molly.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth "Ken" Calvin Monts; her daughter Erin Doty; her grandchildren, Leah Doty, Matthew Doty and Caleb Doty; her children, Lisa Crawford, Bree Rodrigez and Joshua Monts (Taylor); her grandchildren, Harper Monts, Tessa Monts and Willow Monts; her daughter Kendra Monts Raines (Scott); her grandchildren, Mackenzie Raines, Samantha Monts, Owen Raines and Gabriel Raines; her siblings, John Brady (Valerie) and Lauren Sideris (George); and her close friends, Luke, Layla, Betty, Cleo and Mylo. She is also survived by four nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Lake Town Animal Hospital, 119 Amicks Ferry Road, Chapin, SC 29036; or New Hope Lutheran Church, 1725 Old Tamah Road, Irmo, SC 29063.
