Debra Frankel Obituary
We announce the death of Debra Frankel of Chapin, South Carolina, who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 66. Debra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Barry Schack and Carol Schack; her husband Bruce Frankel; her children, Matthew Frankel (Kathy), Andrew Frankel (Brittany) and Jessica Helle (Rob); her grandchildren, Avery, Anders, Lila, Ian, Evelyn, Kyra, Soren and Luca; and her brother Steven Schack (George).
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel (7600 Woodrow St, Irmo, SC 29063). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation in Debra's memory.
