He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Dickert Sheeley; his children, Regan Robert Sheeley, MD of Asheville, NC, Thad Wightman Sheeley of Rocky Mount, NC and Donna Sheeley Eaddy (Scott) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his brother Edward Sheeley; his grandsons, Harlan Eaddy of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Grant Eaddy of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his nephew Jesse Sheeley of Valdosta, GA; and his niece Janet Dierstein of Virginia Beach, VA..
