Elizabeth P Marr Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2025, at the age of 93, Elizabeth P Marr of Chapin, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar E. Polk and Susie McLane Polk; her husband Raymond L. Marr; her brothers, Edgar "Gene" Polk (Riley Claire "Sissy") and Douglas "Doug" Polk; and her brother-in-law Frank McClure (Dickie).
She is survived by: her children, Raymond "Ray" L. Marr, Jr. (Sue) of Columbia, SC and Annette "Ann" Marr of Lexington, SC; her grandsons, Raymond "Lee" L. Marr, III (Jeni) of Lexington, SC and Jonathan "Jon" E. Marr (Emily); her great grandchildren, Lennox, Elliot of Lexington, SC, Eleanor "Nora", Cecilia "Ceci" and Clara; her siblings, Virginia "Dickie" McClure (Frank) of Varnville, SC and William Polk (Ginny) of Beaufort, SC; and her sister-in-law Ellen T. Polk (Douglas) of Roanoke, VA. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, greats, grands and other extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapin Christian Community Church (415 Lexington Ave, Chapin, SC 29036).
