He is survived by: his siblings, Bessie Mitchell, Clauvarin Hall, Sadelma Kinard, Virginia Clark, Robert and Malworth Bowers, Sr.; his children, Artie Bowers (Kimberly), Kim Bowers (Angelina), David Bowers and Rosalyn Bowers; his grandson Quamire Whitmore; his sisters, Sener Davis, Vivian B. Hunter and Deborah McLeod; his aunt Betty Lee Mayers; and his in-laws, Lynn Kinard, Carolyn Baxter, Thomsena Baxter (Opey), Earl Baxter (Johnnie Mae) and Larry Baxter (Carolyn).
