We announce the death of Jane B Ramsey of Chapin, South Carolina, who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 90. Jane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Jane will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Jane will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Jane’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband Don Arvid Ramsey; and her parents, Drucilla Lindler Boland and Dewey F. Boland. She is survived by: her daughter LaDona Ramsey Shaver (Alvin) of Chapin, SC; her grandchildren, Marley Shaver of Charlotte, NC and Corey Shaver (Marigordon); her great grandchild Priscilla Shaver of Macon, GA; her brother Kim Boland (Susan) of Chapin, SC; and her brother-in-law Jim Johnston of West Columbia, SC. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
