He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Verner Swygert and Roslyne Bouknight Swygert; and his nephew Kevin Timothy Counts. He is survived by: his wife Judith Wessinger Swygert; and his siblings, Betty Counts (Bobby) and David Swygert (Marilyn). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
