He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Rinehart and E. M. Cook; and his grandparents, Ernestine Sawyer and Fletcher Rinehart. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Cook and Joy Guffey; his grandchildren, Ethan Michael Hutcheson, Emily Stamey, Jacob Stamey and Isaac Stamey; and his brothers, Wendell Cook and Timothy "Tim" Cook.
