She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernestine D. Mayfield and Henry Perry Mayfield; her husband Rufus H. Castles; and her sister Jacqueline Marker. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Richman (Charlie), Johnny Scurry (Kathy) and Perry Scurry (Cindy); her grandchildren, Laurie Inabinett (David), Rusty Scurry, Ben Halfhill (Sarah), Chris Scurry and Brittany Newman (Cory); and her great grandchildren, Cole Scurry, Tricia Inabinett, Finn, Annalise Halfhill, Grayson and Hunter Newman.
