He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Chester and Edna Mary Smith Hamilton; his wife Carol Diane Hamilton; and his siblings, Clifford, Dale, Karolyn and RamahLee.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Ellsworth (William) and Pamela Sargent (Rick); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Nathanael, Hannah and Maegan. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Chapin Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 640, Chapin, SC 29036.
