We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2024, at the age of 80, Robert L. Patterson of Chapin, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Charles Patterson, Jr. and Arlene Loader Patterson; his wife Sue Evans Patterson; and his brother William Dunsmore Patterson (Bill). He is survived by : his children, Gary L. Patterson (Paula) of Elgin, SC, Bobby Patterson (Ginger) of Greenwood, SC and Elaine Patterson Swain (Tim) of Aiken, SC; his grandchildren, Brandi Johns (Hunter), Alexis Smith (Tucker), Adam Patterson, Garrett Swain (Dori), Madison Fincher (Chris), Matthew Swain, Erin McDermott (Sam) and Connor Patterson; and his great grandchildren, Mason Johns and Ella Fincher.

“I was so sad to hear of Bob’s passing. I worked with Bob for several years back in the 80’s, then reconnected with him a few years ago, about the time of Sue’s illness (which I helped him pray about). He was a good man and a dear friend. My prayers are with the family at this difficult time.”
