He was predeceased by: his parents, Buren Young and Rosalee Young; his brother Warren Young; and his grandchildren, Kalin Johnson and Coby Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Turner Young; his sister Kathe Young; his sister-in-law Libby Young; and his sibling's children, Wayne Jeffcoat (Christy), Ronda Johnson, Lisa Addy (Mike) and Carla Derrick. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
