With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth P. Stockdell (Chapin, South Carolina), born in Falls Church, Virginia, who passed away on August 22, 2023 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pauly and Rose Pauly; and her granddaughter Laura Riley. She is survived by: her husband William Meade Stockdell; her children, Sue Moesley, Bill Stockdell, Mary Ann Beasley, John Stockdell (Laura Lee) and Ruthie Conner (Greg); and her grandchildren, David Alosi (Radhika), Virginia Stockdell (James Davis), Luis Mena (Melanie), Daniel Mena (June), Marshall Stockdell (Bevan), Olivia Conner and Ava Conner.

Memorials may be made to MSA Home Health and Hospice, 2228 Harrington Street, Newberry, SC 29108, and to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Chapin, SC 29036.
