He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Ann Thompson Turner; and his parents, Adolphus Turner and Gladys Young Turner. He is survived by: his children, Stacy Rodgers (Jimmie) and Glenn Turner (Donnie Beason); his grandchildren, Shelby Ann Rodgers and Annaclair Turner Rodgers; his sisters, Charlotte Hersey, Hildaann Kersey, Barbara Shaw and Lana Dowdy; his great grandchildren, Ella and Xavier; his nephews, Alan Brickhouse and Josh Brickhouse; and his niece Georgia Potter.
