She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Peter Hamilton; and her son Robert Leroy Grant. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Grant, Jr.; her children, Michelle E. Vaughns (Ricky) and Joseph Grant, III; her grandchildren, Ricky Vaughns, Jr., Ryan Vaughns, Amber Vaughns, Joseph Grant, IV and Joshua Snipe; her siblings, Alfreda Hamilton Cummings (Michael), Joan Hamilton, Yvonne Hamilton, Rosa Lee Cato and Alfred Hamilton; and her sister-in-law Albertha Bolds (Herman). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smith-McNeal Funeral Home (2119 Dorchester Rd, North Charleston, SC 29405). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
